Company overview

Ground Heat was launched on the strength of 37 years experience within the heating industry. Our sister company M. H. Cragg & Sons has been offering servicing and installation for both domestic and commercial sites since 1973. As heating engineers we were ideally positioned within the market place to integrate into the renewable field. We have now been installing heat pumps for over 7 years, making us one of the market leaders in the industry.

Services Offered

On this website you will find comprehensive details of the services we offer including case studies of various applications of ground source heat pumps. We have full MCS accreditation which will enable eligible customers to claim the RHPP available from August 1, 2011 and the RHI feed in tariff when it becomes available next year.

We specialise in integrating existing systems including solar thermal, solar PV, wind turbines and solid fuel burners with heat pump technology. We also have experience of cascading multiple units and installing mechanical heat recovery systems.

We can offer expert advice on the design and specification of heat pump installations and offer a full after care service where we monitor performance of the installation and troubleshoot any problems that may occur. We offer a consultancy service for companies who may require our support on the installation of heat pumps.

Being market leaders we have invested heavily in research and development and have designed and developed our own plant room that houses a full showcase of working heat pumps and other renewable energy alternatives including rainwater harvesting.

We are accredited with Vaillant, Worcester Bosch and Stiebel Eltron, working closely with these manufacturers in order to keep up to date with the latest trends in heat pump technology.
